She’s a broken angel
She can’t fly anymore
She’s a broken angel
She can’t deal no more

The mornings are ending
The nights are dead
The walls are pressing in
Voices in my head

The demons press her harder
Up against the wall
Squirming, come on faster
As she crushes on her feet

Nothing is surrounding
Just the panting and her fear
Only faces in her dreams
Laughing and laughing at what she’ll never be

Her feet stumble along the surface
Hands reach blindly for a wall
Something to make her stable
Or sane the least of all

When awake, people smile
But she knows the truth behind
The whispers from the corner
The closed door she’ll never find

The shrieks are getting muffled
Claws scratching down the wall
Bang the door for notice
But yet still I fall
Suffocating, the air she cannot reach
Reaching for some surface or a hand to stop it all
Sinking like an anchor
No matter how hard she fights
Should I hold on farther?
Or is there no care left for air
Is there no care left in here
Here where I’ve been forced to be

She’s a broken angel
She can’t fly anymore
She’s a broken angel
She can’t deal no more

Don’t let me go, she says
But no one hears
The demons pull her in and she
Disappears from here
