Broken.

Sitting in a room full of people but nobody can hear your scream.

Walking down the halls alone as if you were in a horrible dream.

Your tears are forcing themselves out of your eyes,

You tell everybody you're okay, but those are simple lies.

At home it seems like life's not getting any better,

You opened the mail reading your rejection letter.

Your tears once again force themselves out of your eyes,

You tell your mother you're okay, but that was just a lie.

The love of your life just broke your heart,

you were gonna go to college together and begin a new start.

As your tears start to force themselves out of your eyes

You say to yourself "I'm okay", but that's a terrible lie.

Two minutes are up, and the test reads yes

You are having a baby, which is why you didn't fit in your prom dress.

You're sitting on the bathroom floor and tears come out of your eyes

You pray to God hoping you'll be okay, but you know that's another lie.

Sitting in your dark room feeling like you're losing breath

All these troubles make you feel like you're near death

You wanny cry, but your eyes simply can't anymore

and your mouth can't release those simple lies anymore.
