The brink of Armageddon
Scales reflecting embers on the horizon
Tell tales of devastation and destruction
Flames flicker farther with each Ascension
Burning buildings break below the tension
Screaming"hi-ho"
"Look out below"
Families SOB hysterically in corners
Of their humble home like bungalows
Ashes spiral out of control
Towards the skies then Fall below
Weird looking black what once was lavish
Even metals melt as they are ravished
No more cars on crowded streets
No more pushing on steering wheels to elicit beats
No more children playing at playgrounds laughing
Just corpses littering cities reduced to ashes
No more blue lakes
Crystal clear with trout's splashing
Just fish belly-up
In murky blackness
A lone survivor caught
In the middle of all the madness
Searching diligently through the rubble
For a precious edible package
Friendship fervently sought
With a smile that can't be bought
In the aftermath of a bomb that dropped
On the brink of Armageddon
