Brick Wall

Location

Down the narrow streets
Facing the brick wall
I see myself,
I see how the bricks stack up, becoming who I am.
Each family member, problem, and identity crisis
converted with calcite, silica, alumina, iron, and past history.
Holding up against everything
people throw at it.
Hoping people realize the beauty of its sturdiness.
How a photo can not replicate inner beauty from any angle.
The everlasting rhythmic essence of the cars
Giving it a parallel life.
Giving it a purpose to strive for something better.
Having the opportunities to reach the end of the rainbow,
Advancing in new heights.
Never falling,never resting.
