They protect us night and day,
and they still do up to today.
I see them risk their lives for us.
They are people that I can always trust.
Their hearts do not believe in fear,
which brings their families to tears.
Their blood has no heat,
even if their platoon is beat.
Whenever a gun is pulled towards their heads,
they will work together to stop the dreads.
For their actions, I am free to call them soldiers,
but how about something better.
They are the brave and strong,
and they will remain that way forever long.
