The boy

Hear the belly aches,

Of the child that wakes,

Hear the silent house

With the lights still out,

And the cries of a mother

Who has no other but the

Kids she bore and one begs for more while she

Starves herself just they can eat

Can you hear it

Can you hear it

Or see the house with holes

And the woman of old who tries to

Keep us together

Through these endeavors

And the boy who mourns for not having more

Who sees the struggles and evermore

So he hops outta bed

And stretches his legs

And he grabs his gun and then he begs

Oh lord please forgive me for the things I’ll do

And just know what I do is for you

Not the lord

Hell naw his mother

And if you remember she has no other

But the children she bore

And one begs for more

And she can't provide so fuck it he said

I'm tires of being poor

He turned to the streets packing heat and he

Hit his homeboy up, we’ll call him skeet

Cause he's cold as sleet

The boy said now I'm ready gimme the pack

Skeet said remember when you do this there no going back

The boy took a moment to collect his thoughts when he

Remembered why his head popped off

He was cold and hungry bored and eager

And he tried for a job but that wasn't the move either

He came to his senses and told skeet let's go

And from then on the boy was also cold as snow

Every one who knew him shook with fear

Once they were told the stories they didn't believe they'd hear

He was on the streets just him and skeet

When he forgot at home he left his heat

And on this day was the wrong day

Cause on this day he was getting paid

And with this payment they'd have it made

I'm talking all the money and all the bitches

The boy couldn't contain himself thinking of the riches

But soon enough the time would come

In the woods and morning sun

Where he took the bag of drugs, the riches

The customer came out of the ditches and said

Gimme the bag and what's in yo car too

Skeet took off but that was cool

Cause the boy knew exactly what he has to do

He grabbed his chest his heart was pounding

Not from fear Nah this was exciting

He took a moment and collected his thoughts

And before you knew it yeah the boy was out

Then the boy came to and he couldn't believe it

The customer had been defeated

But by who he heeded

Then his fist started hurting

And his stomach was churning

He did it

When he blacked out and ran straight at him

He grabbed his his body and out his weight on him

Then he grabbed the man's gun

And started bashing and bashing

And the man's teeth and blood went everywhere

Even the boys hands started bleeding

Then he looked and the gun and cocked it back

And he aimed for his head and pulled the trigger back

In disbelief the gun clicked without

It was out

The boy took a look at the man and knocked him out

That's when he got up and came to

And now the boy couldn't even think of what to do

But the man was breathing and said he was sorry

At least on this day the boy didn't catch a body

So he helped the man up and propped him up

Brushed him off and fixed him up and said

Don't forger what happened here

Cause next time one of us is ending up dead

The man stood up and said he won't forget

And he's grateful for the deed he did

The boy took off and left the drugs

He left that place and left that life

He went back home and still yearned for more

But this time he knew what he had to do

Just in case you're wondering yeah I'm that boy

I'm that boy who begged for more

I'm that boy that grabbed the heat

I'm that boy who smacked out a man's teeth

And as far as my inspiration goes

Its the poverty and shit I been through

The hate, the pain, the struggles and deaths too

But now I moved from home and got my own

Got a girl and got a home

Changed my life

Just to make it right

And yeah I'm a man now and I still yearn for more

But I ain't never going back to where I been before.
