Like a box of chocolates

Like a box of chocolates,

so sweet and unexpected,

you try to guess what's inside.

'Ennie-meanie-minie-no' won't help,

you just have to choose one and wait,

and hope it's The One.

You nibble into a corner,

trying to cheat,

but you know there's no way in cheating life.

If you get one you dislike,

you spit it out,

look at it repulsively, and throw it away.

Most people will just give up after one chocolate,

but you should never give up,

pick another one.

Always be looking,

for that special chocolate.
