Bound now, but not Forever

Bound now, but not forever
In this vessel I once called me
Betraying my soul whenever
Mocked by society

Liberation will come
Her touch is all I seek
With a kiss so powerful
Her lips will set me free

Liberation will come
But why for me?
Because I am not special
No better than he or she

Liberation will come
Her kiss so tender, so sweet
I welcome her presence
Despite societal controversy

Liberation will come
She will come to set me free
And when she does, I will not be afraid
Afraid to be me

Liberation will come
How I have longed for us to meet
With her knowledgeable mindset
What more could one need

Liberation will come
She will come to set me free
Free from the bonds
The bonds of conformity

Libetation, she came
Showing us its not a choice
Whether girls like girls
Or whether girls like boys

Bound now, but not forever
For my love will rescue me
Because we share the same mind, the same soul
The love of eternity
