Boston Marathon

Location

I cheer at the finish line,

It's a beautiful day

The sun is out,

Thousands of fans watching for the winner,

How could we have known

Our lives could change so fast,

I'm thrown off my feet,

People screaming, people crying,

"A bomb, A bomb!"

I read on lips, my ears ringing,

Dust and dirt fly high in the sky,

Blood and parts are everywhere,

I lose my lunch a burger and fries,

I'm not the only one I see,

The ground shakes again,

A football field away,

Bodies are flying,

Two bombs at the end,

The end of the Boston Marathon.
