Born "Free"

I was born in the land of the free
where the land lord put a brother let you land in the streets
mama always told me I would land on my feet when I fell from the heavens and Ianded a king
Real life this ain't no dream fuck the ice and fancy things
Everything aint what it seems I wear slacks you wear jeans they see black I see green

Damn what's segregation money the only thing that seperate us
Business minded I'm educated young and black I know they hate it
And now a days we love chains and whips
we were scared with whips and got chained up on a fuckin boat
Ain't that a trip they ain't have no shoes you better lace up
and our own damn people let them take us never break down and can't break us

I was born ready but most don't get it
history books get polished up with a pile of shit from a politician
you can either get played or play a hell of a position
they can't look me in my eyes because they're scared of vision
freedom is a right, so make the right decision
