Boredom

Time drags on

Hours feel like days

I know I need this class

              For my major

              For my future

              To stay in Hong Kong

But it’s so boring

Every class is so slow

I wait for the fun moments,

Bright sparks in a haze of gray

Another presentation

They’re all the same

I know I need this class

But time drags on

Forty-five minutes to go

              Wait – only forty-five?

How is time both slow and fast?

              It’s almost past

              But it still drags on
