Blossoming Flower

The wind is warm;

blowing.

I am a seed in the grass

Left here alone with no water but,

The wind is warm;

blowing.

I have been left to sprout without water. A single seed I sit and sit and sit.

The wind is warm;

blowing

The grass floods, drowning me in the one thing I hoped for;

water.

I have been tossed and turned. No one here but me, a single seed in the grass.

The water splashes, kicks, and jolts.

Here I am, with no direction, but

The wind is warm;

blowing.

The rain passes. The storm is over. The thing I wished for was not as expected, but

it allowed me to grow.

I have blossomed after sitting alone. I have survived the storm. I waited in,

the wind that was warm;

blowing.

I am the blossoming flower.
