Bleeding Silence

We are nothing more than people.

We are masses with voices.

Some cry silently and shed not a single tear;

Some are bleeding from their throats,

but all are desperately wishing.

We all desperately need.

We crave,

Even in secret we desire nothing more

Than to be heard.

Though we dare not admit it

We hope

Our tortured screams of silence will fall to the ears of those who:

Left us,

Betrayed us,

Hurt us,

Killed us inside and abandoned us to die of our own accord.

We wish for them to

Hurt

Bleed

Cry

And scream into the same silence that will swallow their voices as ours have been

To prove

That they are just as worthless as they thought we were

To prove we are all just voices

Wishing

Needing

Craving

And Desiring

To be heard.
