Blanketed Cage

I come to you today from my blanketed cage

The cage that drives whomever were locked away to utter

Insanity

I see light through the seams along the blanket that bleaches

My mind white

You'd think the light was my friend but he often leaves

Me in darkness

"What am I?," says a soft voice

"Why am alone with no company? Do I deserve it?"

I sang for acknowlegement. no naswer.

I speak to be heard. no one hears.

Let me rejoice of freedom;

The ground beneth falls apart

Light!

"Spread your arms and embrace this blessing."

I does as the voice says and sure enough I am greeted by a wind

I am lifted! I've never felt as enlightened than than today

The day... I got freedom
