A Black Mans Truth.

Why is it us?

Only us.

Why are we the ones who get blamed

For every other little thing,

Not all of us are bad.

They kill us left and right.

How do you sleep at night?

Knowing more and more people get slaughtered left and right.

Each night, I lie awake. inside my head.

The feelings and thoughts wont go away.

Is it really that fair?

To let your white pride get in the way?

For you officers to take innocent black lives,

Day by day. Sometimes I wonder,

Would it be different if I were born White?

Would I do a bad crime but not get as severe of a punishment?

The racism, its gotten too far.

Nobodys gonna change a thing,

But isn't always going to be like that?
