BLACK LIVES MATTER
Police officers are killing my people which is a crime
but yet when they stand in front of the jury they get no time.
They started off as heroes but are turning into murders overtime
taking innocent black people lives.
And I'm not stereotying all police officers as bad but I'm saying these situations are getting out of hand.
I'm tired of my people becoming hashtags or having R.I.P behind their name.
And I'm saying this is the justice system to blame.
Because if you allow one to do a crime without punishment
it open doors and allow others to do the same.
And yes if your white in America, you have white priviliges.
Because my people can't committ felonies and get pleaded as insane.
So I guess if your white and do a crime there's something wrong with your brain.
And this is crazy because this is America. The land of the free.
We have such a big emphasis on equality.
But how are we equal if my people are in fear constantly.
Everything that we do is a problem, they feel as if guns are the only way to solve them.
They don't want to see us in no caps and gowns.
They'll rather see us in a cell or six feet under ground.
Everytime I hear a siren I start to shake after Trayvon then Mike
I started to take in consideration, America wasn't made for you and me
because of our melanin we are minorities.
And this is sad because not much has changed
even after Martin Luther King paved the way.
And I'm not going to apologize for being Black because I love my melanin for a matter of fact.
From my hair to my culture this is apart of me so sorry America if you thought this was going to be an apology.
