Black Dye

Tue, 04/07/2020 - 14:29 -- heisrus

I dye my hair black to reflect the world outside

Other colors don’t mean anything now

Have already been like this for a while

People and the streets seem abandoned and grey

Lost my senses being stuck in a room for days

Days turn into weeks, but it feels like time froze

By the hour it gets darker and colder

I can feel my fingertips become numb

Even the sun appears to be stuck in time

The sky and the clouds make no sense now

Drenched in black and dark blue

Everyone’s lives becomes a queue
