A is for apartheid!

HAMILTON:

That has cursed us immensely in our times, Please hear out this poem as it remains no sublime!

ALL:

B is for Black Or Brown!

QUNTION:

The skin of my color shouldn't determine whether I'm up or down in this unbalanced society of quivering sound.

ALL:

C is for Castration!

POPPY:

We removed production, reproduction in the birth of a nation that leaves God to bleed in acidic precipitation.

ALL:

D is for Dog Days!

POPPY:

They eat swell then leave the skeleton and raw meat in the dog tray; And then when we complain they don't give a damn about what we say.

ALL:

E is for Ebonics!

HAMILTON:

The language we speak booms through the atmosphere like sonic and let the message run through social media as we are adhesive to our electronic.

ALL:

F is for Freedom!

SAM:

We cry for it, we die for it and we became the victims of beat'em. Man, I wish Adam and Eve didn't bite the apple from Eden.

ALL:

G is Glimmer!

Malcolm X walks from the stage, bringing an unnerving presence to the audience with his loud thunderous voice.

MALCOLM X:

Spread lustrous application on what matters let it simmer from this observation the light of justice it gets dimmer.

ALL:

H is for Hate

HAMILTON:

The hate on those you killed make us irate; Cuz if we don't scream in anger, it just might be too late.

ALL:

I is for Ignition!

SHAMEL:

The fire has to start somehow, somewhere release your inhibition; and just be prepared, aware to participate in an anti-discrimination exhibition.

SAM:

J is for Justice!

POPPY:

No, J is for Juice!

ALL:

J is for Justice and Juice!

SAM:

Now my hand...

ALL:

Our hand!

SAM:

Are strong enough to release the noose. Loose, to have respect from our black men, women, and children too.

ALL:

K is for kilometers!

LOUIS:

We run so far, we elevating in the atmosphere, barometers; its time to speak upon the brutality because now it hurts!

ALL:

L is for Lion-Hearted!

 

Michael:

We roar on the top of our lungs in tribute to those who departed; just position your head right there Mr. Office and let me throw my dart in.

ALL:

M is for misery!

quinton:

It leaves a hot taste in my mouth like Wasabi; They tell us "Shut up!" drink your kool aid, eat your fried chicken, cornbread, and collard greens.

ALL:

N is for nigger or negro

DIJON:

That word leaves us in apprehension and prevents us to grow; Since when have we adopted the white master's lingo.

ALL:

O is for ostracized.

MALCOLM X:

How dare you disrespect us right there in front of my eyes? Put superficial media as our forefront hiding your secret and lies.

ALL:

P is for Pain!

HAMILTON:

That has been inflicted on us again and again; Feed us catalytic nutrients then slaughter us like chicken and hen.

ALL:

Q is for quintessence!

QUINTON:

I'm sorry I don't embody immaculacy in your essence. Racism tends to increase, black lives lessens.

ALL:

R is for radicalism!

MALCOLM X:

That precipitates to our own internal cataclysm; and take away our virtue of our definition.

ALL:

S is for sorrow!

HAMILTON:

One day I may wake up and then suddenly there's no tomorrow; we try to build our people up but then they mess up our marrow like god damn!

ALL:

T is for trepidation

DIJON:

Prison and basketball has suddenly become a black man's vacation; instead of the cry and domestication of inhabiting emancipation

ALL:

U is for unity

MICHAEL:

Unfortunately, yet fortunately, no shade or complexion is granted immunity. Oh well thats what we get for being apart of a globalized lunacy.

ALL:

V is for Veracity

MALCOLM X:

Truth is bliss and possess great capacity; sometimes I wish the world can possess chastity.

ALL:

W is for wisdom

HAMILTON:

Open your eyes, your ears won't you listen. A blink of an eye and then suddenly we in economic, social and political prison.

ALL:

X is for Xray

SHAMEL:

Radiation exposure to transparency see my bones in a way that displays and depicts our tradition in decay.

ALL:

Y is for yampee

MICHAEL:

Clean your eyes but you don't expect us lions coming at you in stampede; clap your hands, rejoice with your voice and stomp your feet.

ALL:

Z is for Zulu!

HAMILTON:

Represent your culture, some advice for you. We give you a story now what will you do!

ALL:
