Birth

Matthew 11:12

12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom

of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

Luke 18:17

17 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God

as a little child will by no means enter it.”

Birth

She was raped, taken by force

and in violence she conceived.

A child was born one quiet day

as a life she received.

She raised that child and developed love

for that special gift.

Is it a wonder anyhow

how this feeling did transmit?

“Flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone”,

but what of that part not yours?

It really does not matter anymore

for you love that part that is yours.

Love overcomes everything and it

is easiest discovered in a child.

Is that why children make life worthwhile

so love can here abide?
