Birds & Air

The birds and the air,

Neither really seems to care,

A relationship untold,

The story begins to unfold,

The wind gives birth to it's wings,

The bird gives the song that it sings,

Nothing quite so free as a bird in the wind,

A path in the sky that none need mend,

Peace in the air given to the creatures there,

Through something which experiences no wear,

The bird knows it will be,

It doesn't need anything to see,

Faith in the relationship they share,

Nothing can split this pair,

The birds too give life to the wind,

The voice that follows not a single trend,

A song that lingers,

On the wind and it's proverbial fingers,

How long does it last,

Determined by the song it cast,

On wings of it's own flies the song,

A song that is heard above the throng,

No matter where they fly,

Their song always goes by,

A place in the sky where every song will lie,

Where the two will do all they can and try,

To make the song known,

All over will it be flown,

The song they create will always be heard,

And though some may think it absurd,

This melody cannot be,

The joining of the two too beautiful to see,

As the wind does wander,

The bird needs not ponder,

Only must it follow,

Even though both seem hollow,

They will never part,

Never to end their timeless art,

Listen and learn,

Learn to yearn,

For the song they sing,

The flight on the wing,

Learn from the birds,

Learn from the unsaid words,

Leave the chaotic throng,

Find your pair and your song.
