Bien Vista 04: Stars

Location

Philippines

I gazed upon the darkest sky and then I saw --
The stars. They flash like fiery embers through and through --
To east, to west. They're everywhere. To north to south
Like precious jewel there, so distinct and rare.

"How bright!" These eyes have spoken as I turn about --
Around and round; and Virgin Venus waving there --
Enchanting me. Her brows, like index finger -- bend --
Gives off the morning star and had me linger. Tend --

As still as water, gazing -- wonders -- and with flame --
In these awed eyes. These stars have got a famous name,
Imprinted in my heart and scarred my soul tonight.
And dreams be mine and shan't it lag. Fulfill my wish --

I gazed upon the darkest sky and then I saw --
The stars. They flash like fiery embers through and through --
To east, to west. They're everywhere. To north to south
Like precious jewel there, so distinct and rare.

Shine! Bright! Light!
Stars! Cast! Bliss!
