Beyond the Box
Delving into your persona
I danced on tips of grass
that tickled my feet
until my heart laughed
long before your hissy fits
rendered me into a small black box
I poked a hole with my tongue
one lick at a time until I could
crawl out then turn the box
upside down, just
enough to have you believe
I was still inside
ajs
