Better a wise child than an old foolish king ...
James 1:22 But don’t just listen to God’s Word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
Conscience has always the same purpose.
The conscience is the current standard of God’s leading.
We really need to submit to conscience for otherwise we sin.
God judges through conscience or brings a state of evaluation
to guide and direct my path ... to where I should have been.
Young Christians have advantage to follow the Lord whole heartily
with a conscience so sensitive and so easily moved.
The Holy Spirit guides them without interruptions
in their ability to keep the mind aloof.
Older believers have gathered so much knowledge
They tend to overdevelop ... all issues through the mind.
It numbs their sensitivity ... and as conscience moves aside
As they become immovable ... to fight against “deaf and blind”.
This is the fatal blow ... to what could be a spiritual life
Knowledge becomes the standard ... as an escape from flesh
So to believe in settled joy ... deep in the bones of existence
and then without hesitation ... they’re becoming like the “rest”
Conscience and knowledge can prove quite conflicting.
We can be quite disturbed even doing the “what’s legit”.
According to the truth ... that we just have acquired
through our search and intellect and that is not all of it.
Conscience should be lead by intuition of the Spirit.
It is God’s way to communicate the things He desires.
He is not interested in what we know ... but how we live with it
for the “knower” is not justified ... but the doer He admires.
