While Hera warms her hearth,

While Poseidon defends his seas,

And Zeus sits upon his godly throne,

The unseen, the rich one, the reciever of many, Hades

After spending millennia bemoaning his lot in life

As lord of the dead, the outcast

Has taken a new route

He, along with his wife, Persephone

Have tried making the underworld a bit.. nicer

A potted plant here, a Renaissance painting there,

(As he certainly has plenty on hand)

Do their best

To balance out the gloom of the realm of the dead
