Bending

I watch as you stand up against the wall

Looking like a God.

I should be over you.

You've hurt me too many times

Only to watch me fall again.

Time after time.

You catch me staring and wink.

My heart melts

And I curse myself for feeling this way.

You take advantage of me.

My emotions.

My body.

Bending them till you get what you want.

To you this is a game.

To me this is an unfortunate reality

Into which my heart belongs to you.
