People ask me what I believe all the time.
I believe that beliefs have reason and rhyme.
The reasons for mine are the signs of the times;
the negativity and number of people that are blind.

Blind to the dignity of one of their brothers.
They instead choose to talk and pass judgment on another.
They forget that we all have siblings, fathers, aunts, uncles and mothers,
and instead one another's independence they smother.

We are all human beings; one and the same.
No matter our skin colors, love preferences, or name.
The wars, fights, deaths, and cries have this prejudice to blame.
And that really is nothing but a horrible shame.

I believe that who you are is who you want to be,
and if it's not who you want to be you can change it, do we agree?
Be the individual that you wish others to see.
That a person should be able to live how they want is what I believe.

Now I don't mean this to be taken in a way that becomes harmful.
Freedom to be you makes everyone responsible.
Responsible to respect others and lead by example,
to love one another and this idea to not mishandle.

I believe in love, that is my philosophy.
I believe in being the humans God created us to be.
I believe in acceptance and pure equality,
and want others to realize that we are all part of the same humanity.

People ask me what I believe all the time.
I believe beliefs have reason and rhyme.
The reasons for mine are the signs of the times;
these are my reasons and this is my rhyme.
