Being Two and Turning One

Tue, 10/18/2016 - 22:45 -- BK32

As I fell through,

Through the seemingly endless

Pit of darkness,

So did you.

We were unwanted,

We were rejected,

We were misunderstood,

Until the day we met.

If there is such a thing

As love at first sight;

Some sort of instant connection;

It was between you and me.

I understood you,

You understood me:

We became one,

You and I.

You supply me

with the breath I breathe;

You give me wings,

So that I can fly.

You are my horse,

And I am your person.
