BEHIND STILL BARS!

Fri, 11/18/2016 - 05:46 -- aphiwe

On the dark side of the world

I lived with fear.

I cried, I strived in order to survive, but

no one seemed to hear.

''MAY YOU PLEASE COME LOCK ME UP CHIEF'',

I said,in times of confusion

knowing that once i entered hell

there would be no time for discussion.

In my imagination.

The last time i talked to my Mama

I had promised to call her back the following day

''OPEN UP CHIEF I HAVE A WORLD CALL''

''NO ITS SATURDAY TODAY NO CALLS ARE TO BE MADE''

My Mama always told me

''ACTIONS MOVE ALONG WITH CONSEQUENSES MNTANAMI''

I did not bare that in mind

instead I just did,but why did I just do it

that  was my daily question,

but it always had no answer

that's when i realised where my reward was

BEHIND STILL BARS.
