Behind My Armor

Location

I hide behind an armor of confidence.

It shines its' silver on the eyes of anyone who sees it.

It seems strong,

It seems bold,

It seems unbreakable,

But this armor breaks away.

Underneath is just flesh, that bleeds with fear.

Fear of failure,

Fear of hurt.

My armor of confidence protects my heart from the piercing of a sword.

But one day my armor will break,

and will I break with it?
