Behind Her Eyes

You see her laugh

but you never see when she cries

You see her jump

but you never see her fall

You see so little with those 'things' we call eyes

becasue as humans we have learned to disguise

what we really feel on the inside

You always think the girl that is always smiling is the happiest

but what you can't see is everything on the inside

hiding from your eyes

That happiness is a rouse

it is to make you confused

For you see what she wants you to see

you create the girl she gives you

She does not show the tears and the hurt

because who would want that?

What people want is the happy go lucky girl

not the one who's years are filled with simply tears.
