Behind the Curtain of Racial Controversies'

What is light enough to be considered white?

Born with a combination of ethnic group and its a constant fight.

What is dark enough to be considered black?

Figuring out what you need with what you lack.

A curtain created by society that I constanlty hide behind,

only to see the prejudice that projects from our minds.

We tug and we pull the ropes in order to break the barrier,

but fail when we try to appear as our true selves.

White privilages, minority groups, and other titles are created to be labels,

making it harder to break away from our predestined racial fables.

A curtain created by humans, an identity chosen by color, and a mask made to hide our mistakes,

making it harder for me to pull back the curtains, and others for their habits to break.

What is light enough to be considered white?

There's no distiniction, as long as the fable of "WHITE PRIVILAGE" isn't wrung around  too tight.

What is dark enough to be considered black?

The acceptance of a society with out an intense focus on what others' have or lack.
