You’re words, they hurt.
If I cry, it’ll make things worse.
You keep playing games.
I don’t think they’re fun.
The rumors, they haunt me.
There’s nowhere to run.
That’s how I used to feel.
Then I found something real.
I found it in myself.
It’s something not found anywhere else.
Faith and pride.
Self-love can arise.
Now your words,
They bounce back.
You can’t harm me,
So there’s no use in your attack.
I overcame your power,
I stepped back from your reign.
I feel no need to cower,
My happiness is your pain.
