I Am who I am today 

because of you 

Because the word success 

wasnt enough for your need 

or my potential

I Am who I am today

because of you

Because knowing my history wasnt enough

I had to live it

I Am who I am today  

because of you

Because wanting success

Isnt the same as working for it

I Am who I am today

because of you

Because being older

doesnt always mean being wiser

I had to prove it 

I Am who I am today

because of you

My ray of sunshine

proving to me that Ethiopians really do

get 13 months of sunshine
