Because Nature

The sound of trees blowing in the breeze,

The sound of a waterfall crashing onto itself

Because Nature

The taste of a ripened berry straight off its vine,

The touch of salty water on the skin as it sprays from a shore brake wave

Because Nature

The aroma of fresh cut grass,

The feeling of nothingness next to earth’s grandeur and beauty

Because Nature

Forcing a breath after it has been taken away by Mother Nature

Again and again and again.

Nature surrounds us with its sights, feelings, sounds, tastes and smells,

Nature surrounds us with blessings.

It is sometimes harsh, most often kind,

It is strong yet gentle,

It can be scary but always a protector.

Nature reminds me of God.
