Because I'm caught inside a

Because I'm caught inside a looking glass
And I can't tell whether to cry or laugh
I have a stone to keep me happy
But that's not the jitterbug
I'm the sappy sap at nighty night
And even still it just feels right
And when I'm turning out the light
I'm worried that the ghouls will bite
And sip it up to sip it up
It's all gone
The rich are left with their gold
And I'm still left unsold

A polaroid's a photograph
And there's a stretch mark on the face
It came around from way out back
The monotone is out of place

So dip around the hiding corner
I feel like they're cross the border
And cross the cross like Jesus Christ
To hug himself to sleep at night

The holy books
Nailed him upright
But upside down
Was he in real life
Mesmerizing
Fantasizing
Blank horizon
Where there's come in

I was watchin the pitch black glow of my pretty ceiling
There's somethin up there
Maybe a city of stars
Thanks, Perry Ellis....
And even still there's never knowing
There's crossing crosses but how far

And holed around the hidey corner
There's playing hide and seek
There's nailing to the crossy cross
There's making of the bleaky bleak

Lippy lip or cheeky cheek
I'm blind it's all the same
