Because I Love You

Because I Love You

By: Miranda York

Everyone always wants to know why.

Why does he hurt me?

Why does she leave me?

They don't understand like you do.

I do everything I do because I love you.

I tell you these things because you need to know.

Yes, I think you're annoying

No, I don't want to be seen with you.

I'm glad that at least you understand me.

I do everything I do because I love you.

I hide from you during the day, to help you learn and grow.

You laugh too loud, I'll tell you.

Stop talking, you're not funny.

I want you to become a better person, what else?

I do everything I do because I love you.

I can see you slipping away, and I'm petrified.

What did I do, to make you feel this way?

I give you the honest truth.

I though you knew.

I do everything I do because I love you.
