Because I Love You,

Because I love you, I will let you make mistakes

Because I love you, I will be there in every way

Because I love you, my world is brighter

Because I love you, I will hug you a little tighter

Because I love you, I laugh a little harder

Because I love you, my smile is wider

Because I love you, I will not fear censure

Because I love you, I am not scared to ‘adventure’

Because I love you,

I will be forward, but cautious

Respectful and honest

Be protective and trusting

And forever loving

Because I love you, I will give you your space

Because I love you, there isn’t a ‘separation of race’

Because I love you, I hurt when you hurt

Because I love you, who you like doesn’t matter

Because I love you, I wish judgements would shatter

I will tell you these things every day

In every way, but talking

My silent vow, my constitution

Until it’s relentlessly proven

All because I love you.
