The beauty of the sky

The beauty of the sky, a lake of blue

to own a piece of this glory beyond.

God's creation gathered round He knows who,

on the eve of the beginning he dawned.

A forest of majestic green wonder

within, it contains a wonderous find

better than a pirates buried plunder,

a peace above tranquility of mind.

Eloquent sun shining on earth galore,

a bright day, brilliantly glowing outside.

We creatures here below do so adore

under this magnificence we abide.

Our very exsistence depends on Him

without the presence we begin to dim

This is something I wrote during AP English. I'm a senior who will be attending Liberty University next year and would like this scholarship to help me on my way.
