Beauty

Beauty is not their term to define.

70,

Is it the curves I lack,

Or the bones that poke down my back?

Puberty,

Replace my four bug eyes,

And make sure my teeth are inline.

100,

Please hold back,

Or watch the mirror crack.

Depression,

Just act and hold back.

190,

My disgrace,

I’m just a base.

Beauty is not their term to define.

I may not be an aphrodite,

But I am gorgeous to me.

A change of age made me stunning to their eyes,

But this is still the

Same hair,

Same nose,

Same lips,

So my hips are more rounded and I can almost touch the sky,

Beauty is not their term to define.

I am the stick that is never thin enough,

I am the ball that is never round enough,

Beauty is not their term to define.

She’s stretched or sanded down.

He’s strong, but not invincible.

Tommy,

Sienna,

Beauty is not their term to define.

The mirror,

Tall, long, short, round, square,

Will not shatter.

Because,

Beauty is not their term to define.
