Beautifully Flawed

Mon, 02/02/2015 - 18:28 -- ValLynn

I've jammed a few fingers, I've bruised a few toes

What's my next injury? LORD only knows!

I trip on flat sidewalks, and over my own feet I fall

But the journey's not long, for I'm not very tall.

I sure love to sing, it fills me with such glee!

My showerhead is very impressed with me.

I play in the band and always practice late

Because thats what you do to make it to All State.

In the morning I prepare for my day

brushing my bed-head and kneeling to pray.

I read my Bible and I thank God for giving

Me another day to keep on living.

Who needs a selfie to depict who they are?

To see who I am you need not look far.

I am who I am by the grace of our God,

And I praise Him each day that I am beautifully flawed.
