A Beautiful Day

It was a beautiful day.
The sun shone bright, but the clouds were rolling in,
Obstructing the wonderful sight.
One by one by one by one,
They push their way through, blotting out my sun.
They move and they crash and the sun screams thunder
The clouds bear down and she is silenced
She cries raindrops in her fear and sadness
No one knows it’s her, no one knows she’s there.
Isn’t there anyone who can hear
As the sun drowns in her tears and the clouds keep coming,
Bringing along her worst nightmares?
It was a beautiful day, until the storm hit.
