Beaches on Which We Could Walk

Your dear eyes reflect the beaches on which we could walk

A future that is glowing in your smile

I breathed in your pleasantness the moment I first beheld you

Small chuckles escape your mouth and tickle at my ears

I have a voice, but I fear to open my mouth

Your hand guides me to open my eyes

And taste the world I've been missing

We are so near, but reality drives us apart

What sweet warmth is left after reflections and meditations

Cause me to travel from the clouds to the ground?

My dreams fuel my last ounces of my brightly burning hope

To one day walk along the beaches with you.
