The Beach
The gritty, hot yellow sand
The cold, salty ocean
The warm, swirling breeze
With the beautiful palm trees
The big, bright, blinding sun
The cheering, laughter that can only mean fun
Until the light is gone
It gets darker
No more fun or the sun
Just you and the blue
Until a family comes
Approaches the sea
And grabs your palm
No more will you be
At sea alone
You will be with the sun
Tons and tons
Not just you and the blue
With me and you
