To be a tree

When I die I want to be a tree,

That may seem like a weird thing to be,

But just listen and maybe you'll see.

I want my children to have somewhere to go

But a cemetery makes you feel low.

A tree is pretty and gives you shade,

They always look like they have something to say.

So maybe I'm crazy to want to be a tree,

But one day there will be less of them

And I want to be, a contribution to society

And help the future generations see,

That if you give back to nature,

It will give you a favor,

To keep you breathing

and protect you from the storm,

Nothing would make me happier

Than to be part of the reform.

So I want to be a tree

When it's my last day on earth,

To be the start of a rebirth.
