To be stuck on a virtually deserted island is painful enough...

No technology.

No family.

No friends.

Food?!!?!

Ok. So maybe I can do without the technology. It'll be better for my brain...

or at least that's what I hear.

And maybe I can do without the communication,

it's not like I talk much now...

As for food, well I can just find some. There's bound to be food

somewhere.

I can survive. No biggie. I'll just relax for a bit and

turn on some musi-

I have no music.

The melody that keeps me calm in the times of chaos.

I have no music.

The excitement that fills my body in the times of exhaustion.

I have no music.

The blanket of comfort tht hugs me even when I know I'm not worth it.

I have no music.

The barrier from the depths of darkness when it's JUST. SO. HARD.

I HAVE NO MUSIC.

The last song has played (what was it?!)

The soundtrack has ended.

The darkness already closing in.

To be stuck on a virtually deserted island is painful enough...

This poem is about:
Me
