Be prepared

Ephesians 6:11-12

11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against

all strategies of the devil.12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood

enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world,

against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Also in marriage prepare yourself each and every day.

For the Lord to be Head of the household start each and every morning

with Him. Pray together, read the scriptures together and serve together

Where does it start ... the power to purify myself?

Is it hunger for righteousness that helps me to be fed?

To be saved in Christ  ... provisions all His own

To be loved unconditionally so all my needs are met

Is sorrow a Godly matter in my grieving spirit?

Is the place and time ... selected by my God?

Who led me with a tear to what is called repentance

And wrote on tables of my heart: “Please forget Me not”?

I reappeared in Life with Salvation's helmet on my head.

Time has passed with the helmet daily polished on a shelf.

No more sorrow completely delivered now from death

And the helmet in perfect beauty as I protect it well.

The scars I show on my head were received in daily battles.

If I just had worn my helmet they could have been prevented.

Victories could have been mine instead of sorrow and defeat

But than my dear brother my helmet would be dented.
