To be gay

Let me tell you a story about a girl I once knew

She kept to herself afraid to speak the truth

Afraid to speak her mind

And as time went on she stayed the same

Still ashamed to let people know who she really was

The years went by still had no friends

High school came up and she finally came out

She told her parents she was gay and they told her "baby girl that's ok we love you always"

Since her parents approved she went to school and told her teacher

He teacher said "you are free to be who ever you want to be"

One student over heard and word spread fast

Next thing she knew there were words on her locker that read "Gays go to hell" in permanent marker

For two years she took people's B.S. until one day she couldn't handle it

She went home and ran into her room and blasted some music

Her parents got home
Went upstairs and knocked on her door

They heard the music but no answer they turned the knob but the door was locked

They thought she would come downstairs soon so they waited

And waited

And waited

They went back upstairs and knocked on her door stilled no answer, music still playing, door still locked

In panic her dad kicked down the door they looked around there was no sight of her

A sound came from the closet so they ran to open it

Her mother screamed for what they saw was there daughter with a slit throat and a suicide note.

"Gays go to hell"

She isn't the only one leaving this world thinking that she isn't worth it

Stop gay hate
