To Be Black

Location

I hate talking about race

But it's about time we discuss what it's like to be black

Getting told by the NBA your tall enough to succeed

While the white men doesn't want you near his wife

He's afraid you'll take her see

No, cuz I don't see it that way

I act blind to racism

Basketball can be your thing

And if not the NFL

But if that's not the case our boys are supposed to go to jail

We build more prisons than we do schools

We hire more officers than we do educators

All because we're all still slaves

Us women can cook and clean

Outside of that we are angry

It is hard to make it in this world when you are black

Ask your family members they know I'm stating facts
