To be absent from the body, to be present with ...

Job 8:11 New English Translation (NET Bible)

11 Can the papyrus plant grow tall where there is no marsh?
Can reeds flourish without water?

One of the great gifts today … paper for writing and printing …

Here we go on a fresh page from pulverized wood made by a machine

Now to write some borrowed thoughts of things that are or might have been

Blue lines on a white background as black-ink moves between the lines

Words slowly form in straining harmony in the appearance that all is fine

Peace on earth – Goodwill to man, it is now Christmas Season

Folks at home know that next month the bills arrive like treason

It indeed feels so good to give in a world that loves receiving

To share with all the reasons to live and stop our old nature from deceiving

A great time of the year is called: Christmas. A time to realize the purpose of all

Maybe a gift unmeasured in a cast that renews the Graceful message and call

A moment in time that’s hidden in the heart and that’s set aside for the sublime

Who is waiting for the moment, when called, to be absent from body and mind?
