The Ballad of Lightning and Thunder

Their love is kind-

but even kindness cannot disguise anger.

A delicate balance only nature can produce.

Their love is translucent to the human eye-

many cannot see it until they cannot silence it.

High in the sky she screeches to her husband;

his only response? Tears of hydration to those below.

Their love is awe-inspiring-

many shutter at its presence

until realizing the power of its passionate thunder.

Their love does not discriminate.

Their love does not spend.

Their love does not want.

Their love is the quintessential relationship-

necessary for life and capable of producing wonders.

How ever could we survive without it?
